GMP manufactures Down-The-Hole Hammers and Drill Bits for hard-rock water well drilling and mining. Assembled in Hyderabad — 30–40% below imported brands, delivered in days, not weeks.
600 million Indians face severe water stress. In hard-rock regions like Rajasthan, Telangana, and Karnataka, reaching groundwater requires drilling through granite and basalt — impossible without a DTH hammer. GMP puts water in the hands of communities that need it most.
Most DTH tools in India are imported from Sweden and the USA at a 30–40% premium. Small drilling contractors simply cannot afford them. GMP delivers equivalent quality, assembled in India, at a price that works for the people doing the actual drilling.
When an imported hammer fails on site, contractors wait days or weeks for replacement parts. GMP is assembled in Hyderabad — replacement hammers and bits ship within 24–48 hours, keeping drilling rigs running and contractors profitable.
From 3½" water well hammers to 8" deep mining systems — GMP covers every application with a full range of hammers and compatible bits.

Three words that answer every contractor's biggest question about their drilling tools supplier.
Every GMP hammer and bit is assembled in Hyderabad, Telangana. No import delays, no customs clearance, no weeks of waiting. Your tools ship within 24–48 hours of order confirmation.
Sandvik, Atlas Copco, and other imported brands carry a heavy premium. GMP delivers equivalent EN24/EN36 steel and YG8 carbide quality at pricing that makes economic sense for Indian contractors.
8 hammer sizes from 3½" to 8". 9 bit sizes including overburden. Standard and OB systems. Water well to deep mining — GMP covers every application so you deal with one supplier, not five.
Non-standard sizes, special thread types, specific carbide button configurations for unique formations — GMP accepts OEM and project-specific orders with a lead time of 7–15 working days.
The materials and processes behind every GMP hammer and bit — because quality in drilling tools is the difference between a completed borewell and a stuck rig.
High-tensile nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy steel for maximum impact resistance and fatigue life. Not mild steel, not carbon steel — the same grade used by leading global manufacturers.
Premium-grade carbide buttons with optimal cobalt content for the balance of hardness and toughness. Significantly outperforms low-grade Chinese carbide in penetration rate and bit life.
Every hammer body undergoes certified heat treatment — carburising followed by case hardening — to achieve surface hardness while maintaining a tough core. Done at certified facilities only.
All shank connections are machined to API standard thread specifications — DHD, QL, SD, and COP compatible — ensuring perfect fit with all major hammer brands and drill strings.
Each hammer is pressure-tested at 110% of its rated working pressure before leaving our facility. Test date and rating are stamped on the body.
GMP tools are engineered for the most demanding drilling environments across water, mining, and construction.
The primary application for GMP tools. Drilling borewells through granite, basalt, and hard gneiss formations to reach groundwater in India's hard-rock states. Hammers 3½" to 6" are ideal.
Open-pit mining, blast hole drilling, and quarry operations in hard rock formations. GMP's 6" to 8" hammer range delivers the penetration rates and durability that mining operations demand.
GMP's OB 9" and OB 9½" overburden system bits are designed for casing advancement through loose, unstable, and collapsing formations — critical for foundation piling and infrastructure projects.
GMP is stocked and available through authorised distributors in India's key drilling markets. Export enquiries handled directly through Swiftlyport.
We are actively seeking distributors in Odisha, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, and Gujarat.
GMP exports through Swiftlyport under EEPC registration. Indian-assembled drilling tools offer a significant cost advantage in emerging markets.
